Health Clinics

CHIC Greyhound blood draw

Day: Sunday, 9/10/2023
Time: About 4:30 PM (after breed judging)
Place: Exhibition Building
Cost: FREE and shipping to OFA will be subsidized by the GCA

Prior to the specialty:

  1. Fill out the application at OFA and submit it in order to have bar code labels for the samples
  2. Send an email to Cindy Sisson  to get on the list for the blood draw
  3. Be sure to bring the bar code labels to the specialty so the samples can be mailed

Maximum of 30 dogs will have blood drawn -- act now!

Greyhound only OFA Eye Exams

Saturday, 9/9/2023, about 3:00 PM (after breed judging)
     or Sunday, 9/10/2023, about 4:30 PM (after breed judging)
Place: Exhibition Building
Cost: FREE to greyhounds contributing a DNA cheek swab to research

This is being generously offered by the Rocky Mountain Hound Association and a preference is being given to all Greyhounds. Please email this completed form to Dan Heidel. Flyer is also in the Evergreen Kennel Club premium list. Don't wait as spots fill up quickly. Dan's extremely good at arranging appointments around show times.

GCA Judges Education is on December 9th at 12:30 PM in the Rosen Centre, Salon 5/6

Hands -on portion of the seminar will be on December 11th immediately following Greyhound and Top 10 judging at the Orange County Civic Center

RV PARKING RESERVATIONS

There are a limited number of spaces and amperage available for overnight parking at the Orange County Convention Center; all overnight parking is by reservation only. Pullouts may only be used where sufficient space is available. The RV lot is located along the side of the North/South building in North Lot D (a mixture of paved and grassy areas).
